Cake-cutting

50th Anniversary

23.07.2014

Founded in 1964 McPhillips is celebrating its 50th year in 2014 and to mark the occasion a celebratory evening’s entertainment was staged at the Blists Hill Museum on Saturday 19th July 2014. Fortunately the poor weather in the morning had cleared by the start of the event at 5pm and this no doubt helped swell the attendance to over 400 people.

The Blists Hill Living Museum was open for visitors to enjoy the variety of properties in the Victorian Town and the Carousel was ridden by young and old alike. Peter McPhillips gave a stirring speech recounting the founding days of the Company and over 25 long service awards were presented to employees by Joint Managing Directors Nicholas and Peter McPhillips.  Food, drink and music was in abundance and the raffle proved highly popular.

McPhillips would like to thank all employees, clients and suppliers past and present and looks forward to maintaining its reputation for quality, safety and production over the next 50 years.
