McPhillips were contracted to construct the roads and sewers infrastructure for a major new housing development on a 52 hectare site in Coventry previously occupied by Peugeot.  The initial phase involved a £200,000 sewer requisition for Severn Trent Water and the contract was completed in a further two phases.
 
Phase Two involved the laying of a 450mm diameter foul sewer online, section 104 drainage scheme to Severn Trent Water adoptable standards and the construction of roads up to binder course. We also undertook section 278 works which involved road and sewer works to form new distributor road and traffic island which diverts Humber Road including five signalled controlled crossings, new street lighting and utilities scheme.
 
Phase Three consisted of a section 104 drainage scheme to Severn Trent Water adoptable standards including the laying of 900mm and 1200mm diameter attenuation drainage and controlled hydrobrake system along with construction of estate roads up to binder course.
