We recently helped the New Testament Church of God The Rock on George St West in Birmingham by replacing the broken slabs in the paved area around their church.
Through our social values initiative on the Spring Hill Phase 2 works of the A457 Dudley Road Improvement Scheme, a team of four from McPhillips lifted and replaced a total of 55 broken slabs and carried out the repointing of existing manhole covers. One section had to be excavated and re- stoned due to the condition of the ground. The works were completed across two days.
Tom O’Meara is part of the McPhillips team working on the Spring Hill scheme: “We were delighted to be able to help the New Testament Church with much needed work to the paving slabs around their church. In just two days we transformed this area into a more appealing and safer environment for staff and visitors.”
